Overarching Requirements

Global Secure Systems products and services can assist state and local governments in addressing all four of the 2007 ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program overarching requirements.

National Incident Management System (NIMS)

All of Global Secure Systems solutions, staffing and consulting services can help you improve on the NIMS compliancy of a jurisdiction.

• Response Manager – Response Manager is an ideal development, collaboration and secure storage tool for all emergency management plans within a jurisdiction. Additionally the role-based directory and alerting tools are well suited to assist in launching NIMS compliant incident command system strategies.
• Volunteer Mobilizer – Volunteer Mobilizer is a key tool in cataloging, credentialing, alerting, mobilizing and managing volunteers and groups. It was specifically developed to meet ESAR-VHP guidance, but is equally suited to manage At-Risk and Special Needs Population groups as well as assist in shelter management operations. It is ideally suited for the NIMS/ICS operations environment.
• Hospital Capacity Manager – Hospital Capacity Manager is an ideal tool for managing hospital diversion, staffed bed availability and resources in a NIMS/ICS operations environment. It is designed to meet HAvBED requirements and is a key tool to improve efficiency in EOC/ICS operations.
• Staffing and Consulting Services – Global Secure Systems provides a wide variety of consulting services that can improve your overall response capability. Global Secure Systems consulting staff thoroughly understands the challenges of working in a NIMS/EOC/ICS environment and has a history of assisting clients in improving overall response efficiency.

Education and Preparedness Training

• Response Manager – Response Manager can be utilized to assist in the design, management and execution of many of the dynamic components of education and preparedness training. Its collaboration tools and role-based directory are ideally suited for complex curriculum development, approval and implementation. The document library is also perfectly suited for the secure storage of education and preparedness training materials.
• Volunteer Mobilizer – Volunteer Mobilizer is an ideal tool for recruiting and organizing education and preparedness training participants. It is also ideal for notifying them of course pre-requisites, materials, locations and times. Individual training sessions can be set up as individual groups, thus making management and tracking that much easier.
• Specialized Staffing Services – The flagship of the specialized staffing services is the Global Secure Systems Training and Outreach Specialist program. These jurisdictionally based professionals are all highly qualified Master of Public Health graduates proficient in health education, epidemiology, program management, or information technology. There are Training and Outreach Specialists providing education and preparedness training in several states across the U.S.

Exercises, Evaluation and Corrective Actions

Global Secure Systems offers a variety of dynamic exercise opportunities specializing in public health related emergencies with Public Health as the lead agency. They are designed, facilitated, and evaluated by public health professionals for public health professionals. Additionally, through our unique Super Conference program, we assist jurisdictions in performing a thorough gap analysis and best practices review of the exercise and then combine it with a strategic corrective action plan that includes prioritization, lead agency determination, major tasks, and resource allocation. The Super Conference program takes the exercise process the additional series of steps to truly gain future value from a given exercise by providing a thorough pathway towards corrective action.

At-Risk Populations (Special Needs Populations)

Global Secure Systems offers a variety of solutions, specialized staffing and consulting services and an exercise program to assist jurisdictions in managing At-Risk Populations and Special Needs Populations programs.

• Special Needs Registry – This solution is designed to meet the needs of managing At-Risk and Special Needs Populations by registering, communicating with, and managing At-Risk populations and associated caregivers.
• Specialized Staffing Services - Global Secure Systems can hire and place jurisdictionally based staff to assist in local, regional and state At-Risk Population management and standardization programs. Global Secure Systems has a specialized, jurisdictionally based staff in a variety of programs in states across the U.S.
• Training and Exercise Services - Global Secure Systems can assist in the assessment and training on a variety of program and system issues associated with instituting and standardizing local, regional and statewide At-Risk and Special Needs Population management plans. Global Secure Systems can further assist in the design, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of a variety of exercises that can test newly developed systems, plans and solutions related to managing At-Risk populations in a disaster.
