Level One Required Sub-Capabilities

Global Secure Systems products and services can assist state and local governments in addressing all five of the 2007 ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program mandates.

Interoperable Communication Systems

Response Manager Radio Alerting: Global Secure Systems offers an interface between Response Manager and dispatch radio systems allowing for large scale alerts to go out over radio networks. Further integration is possible to other web-services based solutions including EOC management and Computer Aided Dispatch tools.

• Volunteer Mobilizer - The Volunteer Mobilizer system can be used as stand-alone to catalog and alert volunteers, but it can also be integrated with other web- services based solutions (including EOC management tools) to improve interoperability at the command level.
• Hospital Capacity Manager - Hospital Capacity Manager is already interoperable with Response Manager and Response Manager plus Radio Alerting System; it can also be integrated with other EOC management, inventory and task management, and Computer Aided Dispatch tools.
• Custom Development and Integration Work – Global Secure Systems offers a full range of custom development and integration work in particular. Global Secure Systems is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner specializing in Microsoft Office SharePoint Services and Active Directory integration and custom development.
• Training and Exercise Services – Global Secure Systems can assist in the assessment and training on a variety of interoperability issues. Global Secure Systems can further assist in the design, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of a variety of exercises that can test newly developed systems, plans and interoperable solutions.
• Specialized Staffing Programs – Global Secure Systems can hire and place highly qualified staff in specific jurisdictions to assist in all levels of project design and management including training and outreach, program management and engineering.

Bed Tracking Systems

• Hospital Capacity Manager – The Hospital Capacity Manager tool was developed specifically to provide a system-based tool for managing local, regional and state hospital diversion, staffed bed availability and resources as a simple to use web-based services tool. This solution is also very sensitive to and protects hospital proprietary information. This solution was specifically developed to meet ASPR HAvBED guidelines and will continue to adjust as these guidelines mature.
• Specialized Staffing Services - Global Secure Systems can hire and place jurisdictionally based staff to assist in local, regional and state bed tracking system program training, outreach and management.
• Training and Exercise Services – Global Secure Systems can assist in the assessment and training on a variety of program and system issues associated with instituting a state-wide bed tracking program that also meets local and regional needs. Global Secure Systems can further assist in the design, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of a variety of exercises that can test newly developed systems, plans and solutions related to bed tracking management, diversion management, and patient evacuation and distribution during medical emergencies.
• Custom Development and Integration Work – Global Secure Systems can assist in integrating Hospital Capacity Manager into local existing or planned local, regional or state information technology solutions. Additionally, custom development work can also be accomplished from the assessment and requirements stage all the way through design and development to implementation.

ESAR-VHP Systems

• Volunteer Mobilizer - This solution was specifically designed to meet ESAR-VHP guidance document requirements and adjusts as these requirements mature. Volunteer Mobilizer however does MUCH more than just ESAR-VHP. It is a one-stop-shop solution for all volunteer and At-Risk or Special Needs Population-based programs.
• Specialized Staffing Services - Global Secure Systems can hire and place jurisdictionally based staff to assist in local, regional and state ESAR-VHP program design, training, outreach, and management. Global Secure Systems has already placed staff specific to this program in select jurisdictions in the U.S.
• Training and Exercise Services - Global Secure Systems can assist in the assessment and training on a variety of program and system issues associated with instituting a state-wide ESAR-VHP program that also meets local and regional needs. Global Secure Systems can further assist in the design, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of a variety of exercises that can test newly developed systems, plans and solutions related to managing volunteers including Point of Dispensing (POD) clinic functional exercises, volunteer alerting and mobilizing operations.

• Specialized Staffing Services - Global Secure Systems can hire and place jurisdictionally based staff to assist in local, regional and state mass fatality management and standardization programs design, training, outreach, and management. Global Secure Systems has a specialized, jurisdictionally based staff in a variety of programs in states across the U.S.
• Training and Exercise Services - Global Secure Systems can assist in the assessment and training on a variety of program and system issues associated with instituting and standardizing local, regional and statewide mass fatality management plans.
